A Walk to Remember

We had a good turnout this year, despite all the speedbumps we hit along the way! The chapel was more than enough room to be out of the chilly October air, and the walk around the parade grounds was enough to serve our purpose. The shirts seemed to be a big hit again this year!! I didn't expect the bracelets to sell like hotcakes though.

I can't give Stacey, our local NILMDTS area coordinator, enough thanks for coming out to take pictures for us! As soon as I see what she has to give us, I will post them on the Facebook group. Shiela took a nice set as well, she has them posted in her album on her profile.

Here's hoping next year runs a little bit smoother and we have another successful walk!

October Meetings

Our specialized meeting for those who are pregnant or trying to be is coming up on the 8th. Then the regular meeting for everyone will be on the 20th. I hope to see everyone there!

August Meetings

On the 11th we will have our secondary/sister meeting for those of you that have already gotten pregnant, or are trying to get pregnant again. This meeting has open talk of babies and pregnancies, so if you're still sensitive to these topics, you should come to the main meeting later in the month. The regular meeting will be held on the 25th this month. Hope to see you there!

We have a Facebook group!

Well in light of the fact that nearly everyone has a Facebook account, a group has been created. Since no one was utilizing the Agape forum, this will take its place. If anyone has any group questions or just wanna post pics or thoughts, the new FB group is the perfect place!

If you haven't gotten an invitation, just request to be a member. The group is closed to protect our privacy and so you can feel it's a safe place to talk openly. See everyone at the next meeting!

Good-bye Chaplin Kilonzo

I have only been able to know this wonderful man for the past 7 or 8 months, and even in that short amount of time my life is changed since knowing him. He has such a kind way about him and really gets you to understand what you're feeling. I know that the group wouldn't be what it has grown to today, without the work he has done to make it grow.

If you're reading this Chaplin Kilonzo, you better come back an check in often. Personally, you will always be a part of my life; as the people who pass thru it now in a positive way, will be as well. Good Luck in whatever you do and wherever you go!!

June Meetings

This month Chaplain Kilonzo will be leaving us. He has done such a wonderful job and been so caring in every meeting. I'm sure that I can say for all of us who have gotten to know him, that he will be surely missed.

The 9th will be our meeting for those of us pregnant or thinking of trying. On the 23rd will be our regular meeting. It wall also be the last one for Chaplain Kilonzo, who will also be introducing us to the chaplain taking his place.

We wish you well! We couldn't be where we are or the group we are, without you...

April Meetings
